Introduction #
End the Day Report (EOD) in Vitepos provides a complete summary of the sales and cash drawer activity for the day. This helps businesses review their daily transactions and easily reconcile the cash drawer at the end of the day.
Open the EOD Report #
To view the end of the day report, first navigate to the Vitepos POS Panel.
Then, go to the Dashboard module.
In the Dashboard, find the Cash Drawer tab.
Under the Cash Drawer section, you will find the End of the Day (EOD) button.
Click the EOD button to open and view the End of the Day report.
Review the EOD Report #
After opening the EOD report, you can see the details of the current outlet and cash drawer.
The report clearly displays the Outlet/Counter information and the Cash Drawer Open Time.
You can also review the following transaction details:
Total Cash Sales
Shows the total amount of sales received through Cash during the cash drawer session.
Other Payment Method Sales
Shows the total sales made using other available payment methods, such as card or other configured payment methods.
Total Withdrawals
Shows the total amount withdrawn from the cash drawer during the session.
Refund History
Displays the refund information recorded during the cash drawer session.
Expected Cash Amount
Shows the expected cash amount that should be available in the cash drawer based on the recorded transactions.
These details provide a complete overview of the cash drawer’s activity and help you verify the day’s transactions.
